My name is Ani, short for Anelia. I am from Sofia, Bulgaria, but I live in the Netherlands, where I moved to study in 2015 and thereafter stayed for work and to live there. I work as a Software Engineer and a Data Engineer for a consultancy company, currently working on a project at Eneco, one of the leading electricity and gas suppliers in the Netherlands, so 100% remote. This gives me a good chance to taste the Digital Nomad’s life a few times a year – not too often because I’ve got too many plants, birds, and wild hedgehogs to take care of in one way or another :)))
I am interested in technology, coding, traveling, but my biggest passions are animal and nature conservation. I am not a vegan or a vegetarian, but trying to get to the vegetarian side as soon as possible for obvious reasons.. also because i cry when i see the eyes of the poor animals headed for slaughter on the highway 
I love reading books – mostly fantasy, non-fiction, and crime. Oh, also love technical books related to my work and/or interests in this field. But these are more like studying, because i highlight, write notes, etc and it goes slooooow, compared to regular books. I try to improve my skills and knowledge in all sorts of aspects – from astrology through history to criminology etc. I’ve got a few main hobbies – carnivorous plants, birdwatching, hedgehogs, and bird monitoring with cameras, i love learning their behaviour and seeing new life coming up ^_^ .
